Somehow, in our busy life I have forgotten to blog in a few months. Two months is like two years of stories when it comes to raising toddlers. So much has happened, but I will try to catch up and post the highlights ;) Here is Easter at Nana and Papa's. The girls were given the end to a pink ball of yarn and they had to wind it back up by following the trail all over the back yard. They had to have every girl cousin at the finish line to win. The boys got blue yarn and it was a close call.
Of course, it doesn't help when half of the cousins are toddlers who like to wander off. Corrie and Morgan took responsibility for my girls.
We decorated eggs for the first time as a family, since Sam is home with us full-time for a bit longer. We had a blast. I walked out of the bathroom and saw that he had filled twelve cups with coloring and I thought that there was no way that two little girls could or would use that many colorings. I was dead wrong.
Ruby was extremely patient with her eggs. She let them sit in the coloring until each was a bright color. These are the last of her bunch that she saved. She just stould there and checked them, then lowered them in the solution and waited over and over again.
Our Little Miss on the other hand enjoyed filling every cup with as many eggs as possible. Then proceeded to play musical eggs and switch them all around.
Anna gave up on the Easter celebration and fell asleep on Papa.
