Catching Up

We needed to play catch up with everything that has happened in our family. So here are a few pictures to catch you up. Just start at the bottom because they are posted in reverse order. Oops. I need to remember the scripture that says "and the last shall be first and the first shall be last" when posting pictures on the blog. Enjoy!

Ruby decided to change her babydoll. i didn't even ave tohelp her. She knew just what to do.

Chocoholic! She'll do anything for a fix.

Annalyse loves her baths.

Ruby and Daddy on Christmas morning.

If you couldn't tell, that's Annalyse and her present, which won't be able to truly be used until next year.Seriously, what do you get a baby for Christmas.

There were more gifts, as you can see, but Ruby couldn't move past her big coloring book and crayons on Christmas morning.

See, what I'm talking about.

On Christmas Eve, we opened gifts at Nana and Papa's house. Every kid got to play Santa's helper for a little bit and pass out the goodies that Nana and Papa put together. Things like, cereal and brownie mixes and candy and candy and more candy. There were thirteen grandkids with thirteen gifts to hand out each. You do the math. It took a while.

Sam and the Elders won our Gingerbread House making contest at the Branch Christmas party. Then they went on to make another one. They had quite a good time. I think Linda Routsong is still a little bent that they won instead of her group.

We decorate with Nativities and Snowmen at Christmas time. So here is our largest and favorite nativities. Sam bought it for me on our honeymoon in Nauvoo. It is the first of our collection. We now have nearly 15 nativities and counting.

There has been an endless debate between Sam and I since we were dating-real Christmas tree or fake. I won this year and here is the result- a beautiful eight foot tree with lovely lights and an amazing star. We loved it!!! And aside from the jabbing pain of the needles, Sam is sold on real Christmas trees. I love being right.

Ruby was Daddy's little helper.

The Skinners came to visit for Thanksgiving so we celebrated Christmas early with them. Maddie has grown so much and she makes the cutest little elf.

Beautiful Ruby!

We love our family.

Yeah Ruby was a great helper until she found out that cookie dough tastes REALLY good.

Yay for Christmas cookies.

Ruby has loved Annalyse from the beginning.

Crazy cooks at Halloween.

I think she likes her.

Pretty girl!

Ruby and Annalyse are already best friends.

Proud daddy.

Annalyse Margarite (Pearl) Zollman

Stats: 21 1/2", 8.2 lbs, Beautiful Babe

Nickname: Lil Miss

Nana loaded the kids up with Halloween goodies.

We had a Fall Party at the Zollman's Corunna Homestead. We had a Bake Off where pumpkin was the main ingredient. Of course, the Sam Zollman family won ;) with pumpkin doughnuts. The judges were the honorable Patterson clan. And there was a vote as to what Nana would be for Halloween. The Rich Zollman family voted a hula girl.

Always good eatin' at the farm.

And four wheeling.

I made a covin of marshmallow witches.
